Day Dream.

SZ. MAN is going back to Penang next week and I will be spending the weekend alone. Need to get some movie to watch so I won’t be staring at the wall.

I was heading home and in the MRT and suddenly come out with this brainless but fun position.

If I jump straight up high enough and hanging myself in the air long enough, and starting at the front part of the train, will I eventually ended up at the very back of the train.

The idea is this, as I’m hanging in the air, the train is still moving, my feet is not on the ground so I won’t be moving along with the train as it move forward, the moment I touch the ground, I will be jumping again. There will be a force to push me go forward to the direction the train heading but it seems to be possible that I will reach the end of the train at some point.

This is definitely a silly idea and I’m silly like that sometimes.

Oh Old.

I have 3 alarms set to wake me up, 6:00am, 6:25am (It’s Time!) and 6:30am (Ok, Now). MAN saw how I label my alarm and laugh at me, he said I was too cute to set it that way. Oh well!

Stepping into the big three O, I’m feeling old.

It’s not counting how many days I have been living on earth, it’s not looking at how many wrinkles appear on my face, it’s not that people telling me that I look old… it’s just, a feeling when:

  1. My friends started to post up their babies pictures in facebook, and no only the newly weds pictures.
  2. I started to be more careful on the calories intake.
  3. Read the food nutrition label carefully before putting it into the trolley.
  4. Standing further from the mirror to avoid observing myself really close in the mirror.
  5. Checking out anti aging products and not only those from whitening or hydrating series.
  6. Prefer to stay at home than going anywhere else.
  7. My MAN started to care about nutrition and suggested to eat more healthy way.
  8. My closed friends are getting married one after another.
  9. Spending more time in the kitchen than in the bath room.
  10. Rely on my phone to remind me of everything.
  11. Start to talk to younger people about our experiences.
  12. Start to avoid anything categorized as cute.
  13. Looking at young pretty lady and wishing I was at her age.
  14. Young guy colleagues flirting with me and I’m thinking “Wtf, why are you wasting time with old lady.”
  15. … to be filled

Oh crap! One more month to go, 25th April.

Oh My Bro.

My bro being my bro, the youngest in the family, being pampered most of the time, and got bullied by the 3 evil sisters sometimes.

I called home last night, only get to know that the SPM result already released, as expected, he just got an average result. I remember when he was in primary school, my mum urged me and my sisters to keep an eye on his academy, we tried hard to push him to learn, to get better result in school.

After I started to work, and looking at friends around me, people who used to be top in the class is just another ordinary employee working in the office. My other friends who was playful in the class, always ended up the last few in the class, became bosses of themselves, driving luxury car and owned some landed properties.

Then I started to think.

I tried to let go, let my bro to enjoy his high school life, play hard with friends, what he needed was just to make sure himself don’t get into any kind of trouble that the school penalize. Now, he graduated, with good memory of high school days and a bunch of good friends.

He is now looking for college to advance his study. He initially wanted to follow my foot step to take Computer Science, which I didn’t give any objection, but I advise him to choose a subject that he interested.

Today, he went to the college to check out the course information all by himself, he can drive there but he insisted to take ferry then transfer to bus as he is not familiar with the route, I thought, “Oh, my bro really grown up!”.

I received his call during lunch hour he is so panicked.

Bro: Can you hear me?

Me: Yes, yes.

Bro: How to go back to the jetty from the college?

Me: Where the bus stop you? There should be another bus stand opposite the road.

Bro: No, there is no bus stand.

Me: Then where you get down from the bus this morning?

Bro: No, I took a cab.

Me: …

Almost Lost.

I almost lost my iPhone yesterday morning.

I was getting ready to alight from the bus while I realize that my earphone was tangled in between my phone and my bag and I pull hard, the music that was playing got cut out. I thought it was just the earphone got unplugged and didn’t realize my phone actually dropped out from my pocket.

Thanks to the guy who yelled at me when I almost step down from the bus.

Though my phone isn’t new, but I still love it. It is the phone that I used for more than 2 years, the longer ever.

I haven’t think of upgrade to a 3G as it’s sufficient to me. The camera isn’t the best but it surely recorded many parts of my life. The iPod is my best companion while I travel alone, I never own an iPod but until I got my iPhone.

More importantly, it is a gift from MAN, that I treasure a lot.

Go Mobile.

I have recently browse through some blog on my iPhone and notice theirs looks different on mobile version and did a bit of search and found this plugin which is really cool.

5 mins and my blog is now mobile friendly. I don’t have blackberry or other mobile OS to test on, let me know if it looks broken on your mobile phone.

It was fun exploring new thing, may be it’s not too new, but well, still fun.
