A lot of items in my shopping list eventually got crossed due to my stinginess, and also because I want the best out of the money spent, so I am still waiting to buy myself a watch, and the so long waited and might ass well continue to wait luxurious bag that I always want to buy for my birthday present, and it might not even be mine even for the next year birthday. I am just too stingy. And MAN bought me an Olympus EP1 when we saw it at the airport and it’s almost half of the price that we saw in the retail shop in HK. It took us less than an hour to decide for the purchase. To me this happen to fast and the money spent was too sudden we didn’t even really find out more about it. But I love it eventually.

It is Durian season now and I had a lot of durian during this trip and it is suffice to last me until the next year. You can imagine how much I ate.

I dye my hair gold again after keeping it black for almost 2 years. Trimmed my hair so I looks younger. It’s weird that I don’t trust the hair stylist here in SZ and never let them touch my hair, and the HK saloon charged very expensive, so I waited so long after the last trim and finally get my hair cut, it feels light and my hair is bouncy.

I’m back to work now but looking for the next vacation again. I need to work more OT to get some time off later. Sigh.

I read people’s blog almost like.. everyday, but I simply leave my blog with no update. I divided the hosting cost by days and it costs almost nothing, so I didn’t really care if it’s not fully utilized, I’m realistic like this.

I had a memorable birthday this year and I meant to post it up so I remember it forever but it also took forever to be posted. I have transferred the picture to my iPhoto but yet to process it, it will be posted up one day.

I have a post in draft that I thought I was going to make some humour to myself by writing “Things I don’t do if I’m not in SZ…” but I stuck half way and don’t know where to continue. I have a list of thing to write about when the idea came up when I was commuting back from work, I used my fingers to count and remember the ideas but I forgot everything when I was home. I just can’t deny that I’m getting old.

I watched a few Korean drama and Japanese drama and they are all good stuff. I filled my idle time with drama but in real life, I just hate drama. I just don’t want to waste my brain juice trying to figure out what other people’s motive and the reason behind it.

Weekend, MAN and I went for a buffet lunch with another 2 friends at Grand Hyatt ShenZhen. There was a promotion of the buffet lunch for the new opening. It was a great experience to enjoy good food at a five stars hotel in Shenzhen and see how the “Chinese” battle up for food. I hope I remember to write a post about it.

All are great to remember.

Ah… and I thought of change a bit for the layout theme. Whee.. I have a lot to do with my blog, where should I start?

SZ. I’m becoming wise for acting as a dumbass. The feeling of caring less about what I used to have made my life so much easier. I have more time to concentrate on my own project now.

MAN and I spent the whole weekend sitting at home. He’s playing the NBA 2K9 on the computer while I watched Korean soap opera until 2am with the TV switched on but no one was watching it.

We didn’t even cook for our meals, we eat out for lunch and brought mcD for dinner, it was fun being a couch potato that trying to lose weight using uZap.

We initially planned to go over to HK for… actually no reason so I keep asking MAN what’s the point of going to HK, so we ended up slept until noon, woke up for lunch and lazying around.

At night, before going to bed, MAN suggested that we go HK next weekend and it’s OK if we don’t have any clue where to go for now, we have 6 whole days to think for some activities. Yeah.

We are not mad but just trying to appreciate the truth that we are living very near to HK, we’ll have to take a whole 3 hours flight to go HK next time when we’re both back to Penang.

So, Let’s go HK.

I wanted to make my blog clean as always and free from people I hate, thing I dislike but this time I must make this a note of my life experience that reminds myself from being a kind and responsible person. This might be weird.

My vacation has over but the person I report to have to go on paternity leave for another 10 days and leaving a bunch of shits for me to collect without leaving me a word, no note, no phone call, no email, nothing, and expecting me to be the acting. f*ck. The leave was pre-arrange before he left so there is no reason that he had no time.

I had no clue at all why he doesn’t care about the projects, outstanding items and also never reply emails that people asking for the project status, the only reason that flash through my mind is he is gonna quit, but hell no, he only walks here and there, complaining this and that while getting high pay, where on earth to get such a wonderful job. Now, he’s trying to escape since he knows the project has delayed and very likely not able to deliver so he’s trying to find someone to blame on. He’s giving up the team. Shit. One answer that explained all this is he is aiming at another higher position in another team. Ridiculous.

Something that he thought is impossible to be delivered is going to be delivered in next few days from my hand. I have an evil thought to make him in trouble by not submitting it, or submit it and telling the people that is what I hired someone else to work on, evil evil, but I’m so weak, I can’t convince myself to do that.

Now, I make myself feel better and do everything the right way by thinking that I’m doing all these for myself, I consider myself a problem solver, the more problem I solved, the more I earned. Someday, I will have to solve my own problem and make myself rich. Collecting people’s shit make me a poor shit collector for life, I don’t want that, no one wants that.

I have to reconsider what kind of job that suits me. I have to think.

SZ Home. Last week, I was drafting on a training document and finally complete it at 11pm and thought of getting a bath before continue the next one. After bath, I wipe off everything in the document to use the template for next doc, then only found out I deleted all the content I have just prepared and I do not have a backup copy. FML

After the first successful attempt of preparing a Crispy Salmon, MAN’s highly passionate on cooking. He looks for recipes and every single ingredient have to be in place before he starts to cook. As for me, a stingy one that always look for replacement in order to save up a bit and at the same time not wasting those ingredient that we probably only going to use for once. But MAN has his point, we need to at least follow the recipe for once so we know how it actually taste, we can get replacement in the next try, and also adjust the recipe to suit our taste. That makes sense.

Eventually, our refrigerator stocked up with ingredients that used only once or twice. We have fresh herbs like basil, thyme, rosemary and they do not last for long. A big packet of breadcumbs that used only once. Leftover Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese that have been used for different dishes and a lot more.

MAN is training himself to be a Master Chef and I’m training myself to be a Creative Chef a.k.a leftover chef. I have to train myself to be as creative as possible to use up all the leftover to come out with new dishes.

This is MAN’s second attempt, Black Pepper Steak. It’s never in my mind that steak with just sprinkle of black pepper and salt tastes so good.
