First Attempt
SZ Home. Everyone is talking about Solar Eclipse that happens tomorrow, what is so special about it…

MAN grew up like most of the guys with a supermom who cook really good food and they only get into the kitchen to cook instant noodle when the supermom is not in. When his house was under renovation, he totally let the supermom to in charge of the design and arrangement, I was trying to give him some suggestion but since his mom in charge of that, so I didn’t. Today, he knows how a well organized and designed kitchen can affect the interest to prepare a good meal.
The TV programme Hell’s Kitchen was the one that inspired MAN to walk into the kitchen. He admires how Gordon Ramsay manages the kitchen and the way he prepares the dishes. MAN picked up from some easy recipe but looking at the one pan, one small deep pan, a few forks and spoons in the kitchen, that certainly not enough to make a dish like a fine diner do. We must equip this up.

We bought whisk, glass bowl for mixing, ramekin, knife and a lot more, most importantly is the big white flat plate that to serve the food. It was fun shopping for utensils, especially looking at MAN so focus on the new found interest.
Next, we off to Ole Supermarket, a supermarket in SZ that selling most of the imported goods at a quite expensive price but we got no choice, western cuisine’s ingredients are hard to find here. At Ole, we face some challenges of translating our ingredient list that written in English into Chinese that written on the label. The name of herbs and varieties of cheese are our main headache.
Eventually we got all the required ingredients and ready for MAN’s first attempt of cooking.
This is the Crispy Salmon with Mashed Potato. It’s incredible. I have an amazing chef at home.
