thought ~ I’m getting my resident visa on Wednesday if nothing goes wrong, then I can go to and fro HK whenever I want, yeah…

The holiday here in SZ is a bit different from Malaysia. The holiday arrangement is good in a way that we have a few days off consecutively. So it’s a short break for everyone from 1st Jan to 3rd Jan, 1st Jan is public holiday while 3rd Jan is the normal Saturday break, to work on Friday in between of 2 off days bring down the festive atmosphere, therefore, the government decided to swap Sunday to Friday.

Hence, Sunday is working day for me. The feeling is a bit of weird to work on Sunday. The worst thing is my alarm didn’t beep this morning, I thought I have set it, but it was preset to weekdays and not including Sunday, ahh.. it was my mistake to not notice that, the first working day of year 2009 and I overslept. But luckily we have flexible hour.

However, MAN’s company didn’t follow the government holiday, so he only had one day off on 1st Jan and was working on Friday and Saturday. I stayed at home while MAN went to work. I woke up early in the morning, not so early actually, around 10am and went to the near by supermarket to buy ingredients for the dinner, and I estimate the cooking time and get the dishes ready right before MAN arrived, I have to do so due to the cold weather, leaving the dishes for few minutes and it gets cold real fast. And now I realize I’m a quite a good cook, perhaps I should take some picture of the dishes I prepare.

Next time, if I remember.
