2007-08-26 Sunday

A hot and humid day, reached Ocean Park around 11am. A big crowd at the entrance, a long queue at the ticketing counter.
It was sunday, school holiday. We really chosen the wrong day to visit the 30 year-old Ocean Park. There was too damn many people.
We didn’t even get to ride on the cable car to get to headland because of the queue and we took the shuttle bus instead.

Queued for 1 hour to see the all four sleeping pandas. The only good thing in the panda theater was the air-cond. Everyone tended to stay awhile longer in the theater not for the cute sleeping panda but the cool air.

Abyss turbo drop and ferris wheel at the back, we don’t even got time to get near to it.

We were waiting under the hot sun for the dolphin show at Ocean Theater. We got the seat at 3rd rows where the roof couldn’t give us a cover and was naively hoping to get splashed by water when the dolphin jump out of the water, but the hot sun loved us more and gave us a suntan, tanned hands, tanned face.

Finally…a whole 15mins of show.

A ticket for HKD185 for a mere visit of sleeping pandas, dolphin show, dirty aquarium and a lot of queuing.

Next time shouldn’t go on weekend, next time go during winter…

next time…hmmm..I doubt.
