MAN is leaving for a business trip and leaving me alone for few days.

It’s not that I never have alone time ever since I moved here, he goes back Penang every 40+ days where I got to be alone for a week. But this time is slightly different that he isn’t go back to Penang but somewhere else. He got to stay in Hilton and visit the big city while I am alone at home repeating the same boring life until he comes back. I am sad, I guess more of jealous.

I think of putting a toy gun in his baggage when helping him to pack so he will be interrogated by the immigration and not letting him to board. He will miss his flight, but eventually the police will find out that is the toy gun and let him go, then he will come back home.

I’m not the only silly one. MAN’s assistant made a mistake by booking the air ticket using his Chinese name. Us, Malaysian Chinese have a Chinese name which is never appear on any document like Passport or ID card, which is what we learned and noticed since we got here. MAN thought of don’t update the ticket so he will not be allowed to get on board since he will not be able to prove that he is the person stated on the ticket. Then he will not need to travel and he will come back home.

Sane or insane.

I am feeling real good after back from a short break. And having another day break after the holiday before started to work is superb. Holiday is always short and I always don’t want to come back to work on the first working day. One week back at home is always short that I don’t really have time to meet up with anyone except my family and MAN’s family.

A lot of items in my shopping list eventually got crossed due to my stinginess, and also because I want the best out of the money spent, so I am still waiting to buy myself a watch, and the so long waited and might ass well continue to wait luxurious bag that I always want to buy for my birthday present, and it might not even be mine even for the next year birthday. I am just too stingy. And MAN bought me an Olympus EP1 when we saw it at the airport and it’s almost half of the price that we saw in the retail shop in HK. It took us less than an hour to decide for the purchase. To me this happen to fast and the money spent was too sudden we didn’t even really find out more about it. But I love it eventually.

It is Durian season now and I had a lot of durian during this trip and it is suffice to last me until the next year. You can imagine how much I ate.

I dye my hair gold again after keeping it black for almost 2 years. Trimmed my hair so I looks younger. It’s weird that I don’t trust the hair stylist here in SZ and never let them touch my hair, and the HK saloon charged very expensive, so I waited so long after the last trim and finally get my hair cut, it feels light and my hair is bouncy.

I’m back to work now but looking for the next vacation again. I need to work more OT to get some time off later. Sigh.

Recently, I read from somewhere that a relationship crafted the character and personality of a person. People tends to change their mindset, reset the life goal and be motivated after out of a relationship, and get a fresh change, mentally and physically before stepping into another relationship.

I personally felt this. MAN had a handful of relationship before I met him while I myself had a few. I discuss this with MAN after reading the article. We both felt the same way. We tended to strive for a better one by having list of characteristics subconsciously if we dumped people and tried to change ourselves so we can do better in the next relationship if we got dumped. We learned and came a long way and transformed into who we are today.

I do not know if I did changed the life of anyone I once loved but I did learned from them. I am thankful that they have once stepped into my life. There were both love and hate stories and undeniably, I learned and I grew up. Through them, I understand myself better and I discover what I really want.

If there is a chance to rewind everything to the starting point, I’m not sure ff I still want to go down the same path all over again, but if I’m not, I might not be who I am today, and more importantly, I might not be able to meet MAN.

I know it took me more than a month to post up this, I’m just lazy, no one to be blamed.

It’s a bit different from the other 25th April of all the previous years’ birthday celebration. MAN planned for an overnight stay in HK and 2 days of eventful itinerary. I have always wanted to spend a night in HK so we can stay up late, have drinks somewhere or even strolling at the street.

We had our breakfast at Central and shopping for bit before heading for hotel check in. Knowing that I have 2 whole days to spend in HK, with some events that MAN refused to tell, I’m looking forward for everything coming up.

We took the city tram to tour the city for a bit before going to take the Peak tram. The City tram slowly drives pass between buildings and billboards, such a blissful moment on Saturday afternoon.

This was the second time we go up to the Peak together. We under estimated the breeze and the weather on the peak, it’s so windy and a tad too cold. We spent our afternoon on the Peak, walk around and admire the view for a bit.

MAN told me we’re going to have dinner at Peak but didn’t tell me which restaurant to go to until it’s time for dinner. It’s a cottage at the Peak.

Delicious food, wonderful companion on my birthday at the scenic Peak of HK , what’s more I can ask for.

I told myself I should somewhat write something in my blog since this is a place where I wanted to keep all my memories but somehow, I ignored it.

I read people’s blog almost like.. everyday, but I simply leave my blog with no update. I divided the hosting cost by days and it costs almost nothing, so I didn’t really care if it’s not fully utilized, I’m realistic like this.

I had a memorable birthday this year and I meant to post it up so I remember it forever but it also took forever to be posted. I have transferred the picture to my iPhoto but yet to process it, it will be posted up one day.

I have a post in draft that I thought I was going to make some humour to myself by writing “Things I don’t do if I’m not in SZ…” but I stuck half way and don’t know where to continue. I have a list of thing to write about when the idea came up when I was commuting back from work, I used my fingers to count and remember the ideas but I forgot everything when I was home. I just can’t deny that I’m getting old.

I watched a few Korean drama and Japanese drama and they are all good stuff. I filled my idle time with drama but in real life, I just hate drama. I just don’t want to waste my brain juice trying to figure out what other people’s motive and the reason behind it.

Weekend, MAN and I went for a buffet lunch with another 2 friends at Grand Hyatt ShenZhen. There was a promotion of the buffet lunch for the new opening. It was a great experience to enjoy good food at a five stars hotel in Shenzhen and see how the “Chinese” battle up for food. I hope I remember to write a post about it.

All are great to remember.

Ah… and I thought of change a bit for the layout theme. Whee.. I have a lot to do with my blog, where should I start?
